As the rugby league nears a climax, some teams have given up on the title chase, turning their focus to finish in the cash-prize bracket.
The Nile Special-sponsored league awards the winners with Shs5m, while the runners-up take home Shsh3.5m. The MVP and top try scored pockets of Shs1m and Shs0.5m respectively.
Jinja-based Nile rugby club, who are second from bottom, believe they have all it takes to scoop the fair play team award, which comes with a Shs1m cash prize.
