Good day villagers and good health. ..... and now to my fellow sons and daughters working outside Uganda. how are are you and how are your relationships?. i am worried and concerned about you.
Over the holidays i run into an old friend whose sons had come from abroad to spend the holidays with her. as usual we engaged in tete-atete and what i discovered flabbergasted me. The young men who have reached the age of majority are having a hard time finding a girl to marry.
Apparently i am informed that in many countries out there its very hard to find a marriage material girl, hence this young men resort to coming back here in Uganda to look for future wives. i congratulate you on this, east or west home is always best.
.....and now to my main point. Those who cant make it to Uganda often are left with minimal options. They say desperate times call for desperate measures. The internet is seen as their only means and believe me not, some of them are dating and promising marriages to girls they have never ever met. THIS IS VERY DANGEROUS. TO BE HONEST I AM AFRAID AND VERY WORRIED.
I am greatly opposed to relationships on the internet, for good reasons. but i am told that times have changed and there are exceptions. If indeed there is love on the internet please observe the following.
1. Let your relationship grow outside the internet
2. Be meeting often face to face.
3. Take care and take your time
Failure to take the appropriate measures will result in to more than 90% of this relationships failing. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED.
HAVE A BLESSED AND PLEASE TAKE CARE.
