200 girls assemble for tag rugby tournament

Two hundred and forty girls from 24 primary schools in Kampala are expected to do battle in a tag rugby exhibition slated for this Wednesday at the Kyadondo club. Tag rugby is a non-contact version of rugby introduced to children ahead of playing the sport fully.

The event kicks off at 9am. Each school will be required to field a team of 10 players in the battle for four trophies at stake, courtesy of Game Stores, Strategic Logistics and the Uganda Rugby Union. The overall winner will have a
