Amama named in murder plot

Two people; one, a self-professed hit man, and another, a losing LCV candidate in Kanungu district, made a hair-raising claim yesterday. The hit man claimed publicly that the powerful Security Minister Amama Mbabazi hired him in September last year to bump off a political opponent, Godfrey Karabenda, a loser in the Kanungu LCV race.
