Rural schools tipped over sanitation

MUKONO - Health officials have launched a hand washing campaign in rural schools and at home to prevent the high spread of diseases. Speaking at the launch, the Mukono district health inspector Yosa Kazimoto said washing hands after visiting the toilet and before having meals would enhance hygiene and health.

He said they had sensitised 82 community health mobilisers to spearhead the exercise. Kazimoto, who was speaking at the Kayini Roman Catholic Primary School, Kasana village in Kasawo
