Rugby players come to blows

Makerere University’s Graveyard rugby ground was turned into a boxing ring on Saturday as Impis battled Pirates in the Nile Special Rugby League. Impis chairman Dan Obote proved to be a good street fighter when he attacked and sent blows raining on his former players Rugumayo Mpuga and George Asin, scaring the day’s referee Denis Anguyo, who shied away from punishing him.

As Pirates won 24-8, Asin saw red for back chatting (complaining after being given a yellow card) and Fisher Iraguha
