Uganda ‘can be rid of poverty by 2020’

Half of the world’s 48 poorest nations, including Uganda, can graduate from poor to middle income countries in the next 10 years, a UN report released on Tuesday has said. This can however happen only if Uganda makes good use of the development aid and invests more in improving agriculture and education, the reported added.

The report claims that this can be achieved considering the fact that altogether there have been 51 LDCs since the category was created in 1970 and three countries;
