Malwa-drinking causes TB scare

ARUA - Consumers of Malwa, a locally brewed alcoholic drink are prone to contracting Tuberculosis, district officials have warned. The drink, usually taken by groups of people using tubular straws, is common in areas of eastern and northern Uganda. The shared tubes make it easy for TB to be transmitted.
