Tourism ministry wants to chop UWA and UNBS power

Government agencies under the Ministry of Tourism, Trade and Industry will have their wings clipped if they do not stop “misusing” some their statutory powers. The Permanent Secretary Ministry of Tourism, Trade and Industry, Julius Onen, has said some of these organisation have a lot of powers—including the authority to borrow which makes them commit the taxpayer to unnecessary debts.
