Boxers from Mwanza and Nairobi were the first to arrive in Kampala ahead of this year’s Inter-cities championship, Uganda Amateur Boxing Federation (UABF) confirmed yesterday.
The event starts tomorrow at Lake Victoria Resort Hotel in Munyonyo. UABF publicity secretary Sande Kisuko said yesterday that preparations for the three-day event had been finalised. “We are set for this event, and Ugandan teams are also ready for the challenge,” said Kisuko.
