Striking hair makers given more Shs2,000, resume work

Striking workers of Darling Industries, the company that makes artificial women’s hair, have got a 33 per cent pay rise.
The workers laid down their tools on Monday protesting the low pay and poor working conditions. Some female workers claimed they were being harassed sexually, an allegation denied by the managers.
