Minister Kabakumba sued

Information and National Guidance Minister Kabakumba Matsiko’s victory in the February 18 parliamentary election has been contested in court. Her political nemesis, Phinehas Kyotasobora, claims that the minister rigged the election contrary to the Parliamentary Elections Act, 2005. On March 25, Kyotasobora, who contested as an independent candidate in the Bujenje parliamentary race, filed a suit in the High Court in Masindi.
