Twenty families lose property in hailstorm

MUKONO - Over 20 families were left homeless and are in fear of suffering long periods of hunger after a heavy downpour characterised by strong winds and hailstorm hit their village. The rains that hit Mukono District on Sunday March, 27 destroyed several plantations including bananas, cassava and potatoes in the sub-counties of Nama, Kimenyedde, Kyampisi and Nabbaale.
