Charcoal dealers face arrest

Karamoja - Wayward charcoal dealers and other people who fell trees indiscriminately will be arrested. The Moroto Resident District Commissioner, Nahaman Ojwee sounded the warning on Wednesday, March 23, while officiating at the belated district World Water Day celebrations held at Rupa Sub County headquarters. Local leaders had informed Ojwee that charcoal dealers were encouraging people to cut down the scarce trees in the semi arid Karamoja region.
