Sudhir wants to manage Uganda’s national parks

City tycoon Sudhir Ruparelia wants the government to liberalise management of national park so as to give local investors, such as himself, a chance to manage tourist sites.

“It is becoming tricky and difficult for us local investors to promote tourism especially in the government dominated national parks. We are requesting government to liberalise this sector to enable us boost the tourism industry,” said Ruparelia, who owns a chain of hotels in the city.
