Uganda at third attempt

Uganda’s volleyball men’s team arrived in Kigali, Rwanda, yesterday to compete for a slot in the All African Games Zone 5 qualifiers. It will be Uganda’s third attempt at trying to qualify for the continental political games, after two unsuccessful missions in 2005 and 2007.

“We’ve been together for quite a while and I believe we are going to post game results; we want to make our country proud by qualifying for the All African Games,” said Tony Lakomy, the team captain.
