What is the hidden agenda of the allied forces in Libya?

Obviously, Libya is currently faced with violence that has destroyed lots of life and property. The Security Council is now implementing Resolution 1973 (2011) it adopted on 17th March which authorises the use of force in Libya by the allied powers led by France to protect civilians from attack.
