Rampant Noise pollution in Makindye

I am sure this issue has come up many times, but we never realise its severity until we face it personally daily. I live in a good locality in Makindye but my home is close to a slum dwelling.

The people there are very jolly and celebrate every written holiday on the Ugandan calendar. Unfortunately this is preceded by huge blaring loudspeakers announcing a do planned at some common grounds. These loud speakers make so much noise you would regret living here if you did.
